Just outside the bustling metro of Little Rock and North Little Rock is the small town of Maumelle. With a population just over 17,000, this town still offers big adventures. Take a walk around Lake Willastein or Lake Valencia, behold the breathtaking views of Arkansas's hills and Pinnacle Mountain, or dine at one of the local restaurants. Though the town gets quiet shortly after 8:00, you don't have to sacrifice nightlife as Little Rock is just minutes away. 
In the heart of Saline County is Benton and Bryant. These two towns, closely intertwined, possess a homegrown heart. Both cities are family friendly at their core with nationally ranked public schools. High school football games are a Friday night staple, with the cross town Benton-Bryant rivalry being the longest and most passionate in the state. Although the cities hold the close-knit-community ambiance, the area is up and coming. Shopping and restaurants are consistently popping up in or around Benton and Bryant, giving the area a Big City element. Visit the Alcoa Exchange Shopping Center. Or take a trip just outside the county to Bass Pro Shops, The Outlets, and Dave & Busters. Some of the area's major employers include Saline Memorial Hospital, Bryant School District, Benton School District, Landers Automotive, and Rineco Chemical Industries. 
The mid-sized city of Conway offers an eclectic mix of urban meets suburban. Conway is home to three colleges, the University of Central Arkansas, Hendrix College, and Central Baptist College, giving it the official title "The City of Colleges". But don't let that title fool you. A college culture is present, with many hip bars and a unique artistic community. But the family friendly environment still gets to shine in tandem. Take a walk down Historic Downtown Conway and indulge in an array of local restaurants. Shop at any of the numerous retail locations. At any time of the week, one of the three colleges is hosting an event open to the public, whether it be a football game, live theatre, or a concert. In the spring, is famous Conway for the fair and festival Toad Suck Daze, one of the most popular events in the state. Of course if you seek to escape the town for a time, Little Rock is just minutes away!
The third largest city in Arkansas sits on the outskirts of the beautiful Boston Mountains. Fayetteville offers a modern culture unlike any other Arkansan city. Home to the University of Arkansas Razorbacks and ranked 23rd by US News as the Best Place to Live. Fayetteville has a quaint, yet urban feel. Crawl through the hip bars on Dickson Street or tour one of the 40 sites listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Some of the major employers include Wal-Mart, The University of Arkansas, and Washington Regional Medical Center. The typography of Fayetteville offers outdoor activities abound, whether you enjoy hiking, rock climbing, or camping. Though all of Arkansas is beautiful, nothing truly beats the grandeur Fayetteville in the fall. 
In the Northwest corner of the state sits Rogers, a formerly small rail town that has recently boomed! Statistically the 8th largest city in Arkansas, Rogers has much to offer! Visit one of the many historic attractions, such as the Pea Ridge National Military Park. Take part in the cornucopia of restaurants and shopping at one of the many major shopping centers. Experience great local theatre at the Arkansas Public Theatre in Historic Downtown, a symbol of the prevalent theatre and arts community. Most know Bentonville as the hometown of the world's largest retailer, Wal-Mart. But there's more to this lovely city, the 10th largest in Arkansas!
